HIRING: SOFTWARE ENGINEERING INTERN (2025)
May 2025: We are hiring for the role of a software engineering intern. While we are based in Mumbai, this is a fully remote role (currently we are only hiring Indian residents). If interested, please fill out the form below. Also linked here.
July 2025: We have no open roles at the moment. However, we are always willing to carve out one for an exceptional applicant and a good fit with our team. We cannot tell if you are exceptional based on your resume (was always the case; and now even more so in the AI age).
So how do you demonstrate you are exceptional and we should consider making you a part of our team?
Please fill out our form and reach out to us and take up a coding challenge. We offer options to build open-source products like this one so that you can showcase them even if not selected (NOTE! Do not do the same one; we'll offer a different task).
Here is our listing on wellfound (This is for additional information including salary range; please use the form included below (and also linked above) on this page to apply if you are interested!).
IMPORTANT! Please attempt the hiring challenge mentioned in this form. Every person on our team is someone we recruited through such challenges.
For the exceptional ones--and we hope there will be many--we will be parterning with 3f.vc to help you work on your own ideas.
What you will do
You will help us build meaningful learning platforms, AI copilots, learning games, and more. We go about these very differently. You can read more about this below.
Who we are looking for
Learning happens through exploring, building, creating and playing – and not through passive one-way instruction.
If you are nodding your head in agreement as you read this, we want to work with you!
We absolutely do not care about your degree. We think learning happens by doing, and that school and college can more often than not come in the way,
We care about what you can do, build, create.
We run offline microschools and online learning tools. You can read more about our approach here and our hiring approach here.
Note: Our hiring process involves building something that will be open-source and useful for everyone. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to showcase your work and also get public recognition.
More about what we do
We realized that to enable personalized meaningful offline learning, we need to build our own full-stack of technology & AI tools that help with the philosophy (why), process (how), and practice (what) of learning. One of them is Zippie, our microschool in a box that is built from the ground-up to answer all of these (why, how, what) questions.
We are also building learning copilots to help parents and educators facilitate learning.
