We Are Hiring (& Offering Grants!)
Our mission at Comini Learning is to enable personalized, playful, meaningful learning. We currently operate a microschool in Mumbai, and are building personalized AI tutors & assistants to make learning fun and accessible at scale.
You can learn more about how we are enabling learning and why we are excited for the future of learning here & here.
We think anyone can learn anywhere. And that’s true for grownups too! And we believe this even when it comes to hiring. We don’t think you need a degree to demonstrate that you know something. We believe, instead, that you’ll be able to show us you can do what is required and learn what it takes to get there.
So our hiring is open to absolutely everyone!
UPDATE (April, 2024): We have filled these full-time roles (except for in-person educators). However, you are welcome to try out these challenges and reach out to us. Grant applications are still open.
We encourage women who are on a break from work and are looking to get back.

In addition to hiring for these roles, we are working with Malpani Ventures and Dr. Aniruddha Malpani, a world-renowned IVF specialist, an Angel Investor and a Social Impact Entrepreneur to offer grants to build something useful in one of these areas. Dr. Malpani is sponsoring grants of Rs. 1 lakh, which can be followed up with larger grants of up to Rs. 10 lakhs for select projects. We want you to build in public and open-source this so the entire community benefits.
To win these you must demonstrate that you have some understanding of the challenges and can also do what it takes to build a full or meaningful but partial solution.
Areas we are interested in.
Multilingual early education modules that are not textbook/lecture based
Multilingual legal-aid site/app/chatbot
Basic multilingual health consultation site/app
Fraud reporting (especially edtech :) )
Note: Anything you build will be available under a Creative Commons Non-Commercial License
Note: We are open to other ideas as long as there is a social impact angle and they are the kind of ideas that do not get executed because there is no attractive financial incentive.

Authentication should be using either of these: a) Any authentication that only allows one of the major email providers will do. b) An alphanumeric code that is shared separately and securely (could be shared with us by email)
Share both the code and a note/google doc documenting your thought process and design and architecture decisions in detail, and the errors and your learning along the way.
Note: Send us an email once you have thought this through, have put together the design doc, and are going to start coding.
